You do not need to use softeners before your appointment.
Modern practise methods now mean that you do not always need to use softening drops prior to the appointment. When you make your appointment you will be advised if you need to use any treatment beforehand but it is unusual that you would need to use any softeners for more than one day.
How long will my appointment last?
Dependant on the treatment required and if both ears need attention between 30 – 60 minutes.
Occasionally an individual may need to return for follow up if the wax cannot be fully removed or there is an ear infection or trauma to the ear canal.
